
Cst. Travis "TJ" Jordan

End of Watch: March 16, 2023
Constable Travis Jordan was fatally injured on March 16, 2023, while responding to a family dispute in an apartment complex. Upon arrival, Constable Jordan and Constable Brett Ryan went inside the building, approached the suite, and were shot by a young male suspect. The two officers were rushed to hospital, where they were both declared deceased.

Prior to joining the Edmonton Police Service (EPS), Travis attended Holland College in Prince Edward Island, where he completed a certificate in Policing Science.
He worked as a jail guard with the Kentville Police Service until he started in EPS Recruit Training Class 132 on November 3, 2014. Upon graduating from the class, he moved to West Branch, Squad 6, and later to Squad 4.
He played recreational hockey, golf, guitar and volunteered with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization. His recruit class described him as someone who took initiative, showed perseverance, was out-going, trustworthy, and dependable.
Constable Jordan was 35 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife.
